Radiology Interpretation

Interpretation of abdominal films and CT scans for intestinal obstruction is not terribly difficult. The combination of erect and supine abdominal films is now considered obsolete with little extra information being gained from the erect abdominal film. Most units just do a supine abdominal film and an erect chest x-ray.
