The patient is in the intensive care being treated for a subarachnoid haemmorhage. There has been little bowel activity for several days and more recently some diarrhoea. What is the differential diagnosis?
Pseudomembranous colitis
Sigmoid volvulus
Obstruction due to incidental tumour at the recto-sigmoid junction
Constipation with overflow diarrhoea
Ischaemic colitis
