Vesalius, Andreas (1514-1564)

Born 1514, died 1564 at age 50.

16th century Flemish anatomist Andreas Vesalius, wrote De Huamni Corporis Fabrica On the fabric of the human body. This book was published in 1543 when Vesalius was 29 years of age is considered by many to be the most influential medical work ever.

Of course it is also described as 663 pages of tangled Latin.
