Description

This is an intraoperative photograph taken at the time of a lapartomy.

The greater omentum has been separated from the colon and is seen lying on the drape over the patients chest.

The transverse colon appears markedly distended. The surface of the colon appears mildly inflammed with adherent fibrinous material.
